Washington State Snowmobile Racing Association

About WSSRA

The Washington State Snowmobile Racing Association has been providing safe and organized snowmobile racing since 1987. The WSSRA was formed by several avid snowmobilers from both western and eastern Washington that loved to race and decided to form an association to offer drag racing in the western states under a set of rules to keep racing fair for all participants.

The WSSRA offers classes for all ages, abilities, and sled types from junior races for the 120 mini's to full mountain modified machines with nitrous. We have 4 to 5 grass drag races each year during the months of August to October, and we sanction the "Woody's Snow Drag" in West Yellowstone Montana in conjunction with the EXPO and the
sno-cross event sanctioned by Mountain West Racing the 3rd weekend in March. The Woody's Snow Drag is the largest winter drag racing event in the country having over 300 entries racing over 2 days.

We would like to invite all snowmobilers and racing enthusiasts to come out and give it a try or just watch the fun and excitement of snowmobile drag racing.
